Kaui Hart Hemmings on Taking “The Descendants” From Book to Film at Writer’s Guild Awards
Author of “The Descendants” Kaui Hart Hemmings stopped to chat with StarCam’s Jennifer Tapiero at the Writer’s Guild Awards and gave some exclusive details about filming the movie! She not only got to spend time with George Clooney off-set, but also played his character’s secretary in the film. Another fun fact about Kaui’s involvement in the filming process is that she actually lives in Hawaii where the movie was shot, and most of the houses used in it were her friends and family member’s homes!
