They were nominated in the “best Canadian international video of the year” category, which if you ask us, sounds weirdly specific (although, maybe not, since MuchMusic is Canadian). Tonight on the Santa Monica Pier we’ll be on the red carpet for an exciting charity fight night benefiting the Sugar Ray Leonard Foundation and its support of Juvenile Diabetes Research and The Wounded Warrior Project. Stars who will be there to take in the fights and support the cause include rap artist The Game, actor Robert Knepper, Omarosa from The Apprentice, LA Laker player Metta World Peace, Cedric the Entertainer and Usher, who plays Sugar Ray Leonard in an upcoming biopic.

Zach Galifianakis, one of the stars of The Hangover 3, has shared his good fortune in a very personal way. In the 1990s, he became friends with Mimi Haist, who worked at a local laundromat for tips. When he learned two years ago that she had become homeless, he helped her get into an apartment and began taking the 87 year old to movie premieres and other red carpet events. She was his date for premiere of Hangover 3.
