It’s April Fools: What Entertainment News is for Real, and What’s a Joke?
April 1st is never a good day to release some unbelievable news, because, the chances are slim that you will be believed. Think back to the launch of Gmail; at the time, a gigabyte of mail space was an unbelievable amount. I don’t even think my computer’s harddrive was much bigger than that at the time. Google had to release a second statement on April 2nd assuring everyone that no, they were absolutely serious about offering that much storage for mail.
Headlines today generally require a second look. While some are obvious pranks, others are a little tougher to suss out. Here are our favorite April Fools stories of the day.

But, some of the best Game of Thrones material is coming from people besides the series’ creators. Check out some of the tributes and parodies produced by Game of Thrones’ dedicated fans.
